Pocket fold card...

Hi there everyone!
Åsa here today. Im going to show you a Pocket Fold card and Im also going to show you some step by step pictures on how I make it.

The Pocket with the Tag inside.

First I start with a paper in the size of appr. 13 x 29,5 cm,
and fold it after my messures in the pics:

The cut the corners and in the middle of the sides,
as in the picture.

Then fold it together (don´t glue yet).
Then mark out the middle of the top.

Then I use a circle punch and punch out a half circle.

If you want to distress the edges you should do it now.

In the next step I glue the flaps on both sides of the front.
This will give stability to the folding.

Then I fold the flaps on the sides of the back and glue them together with the front.
Here you can se how it should look on the inside...

Now the base of the card is ready and it should look something like this.

For the inside I made a tag in the size of appr. 10,5 x 14 cm.

And this is how it looks finished:

The Tag and the Pocket together.

Papers from Maja Design and the stamp is from Make it Crafty.

And finally a close up on the tag.

Hope you feel inspired to try making your own Pocket Fold Card.

Hugs, Åsa

DT Article - Lili Of The Valley

StampARTic's DT have been sponsored with gorgeous digi stamps from

"Laila Ansbergs started Lili of the Valley in 2004 and it has grown since then
to be a well respected and much loved company in the UK crafting world.
All the initial designs were Laila's and they soon became really popular...
at UK Craft Shows, on Crafting TV and of course on www.liliofthevalley.co.uk.

Joined by her friend Lisa Barnes,
the business has expanded and Lili of the Valley now works with
other artists to bring you a wide range of gorgeous designs,
both for stamps and die cut designs. Laila still translates all the images
into the black and white stamp designs,
but the business of running Lili of the Valley now takes too long for
her to design artwork too!

Lili of the Valley Ltd popularity continues to grow as
crafters from around the world discover the company's lovely designs."

We recieved wonderful christmas stamps, and here this is what the DT made:

ARTsy team, christmas gift tags

Christmas Eve is here in exactly 50 days. We're assuming that you, as well as the ARTsy team, have finished all of the christmas cards so we turn our focus to the christmas gifts that surely are both bought and wrapped. Since there is plenty of time left we decided to create christmas gift tags.

Inger's tags

Background papers made with acrylic paint, Lumiere, pearl ex and floor wax.

Background papers made with gesso, distress ink, iridescent medium, shelf lining,
embossing powder, pearl ex and metal leaf.

Background papers made with acrylic paint, iridescent medium, Lumiere, bandage and fantasy fiber.

Background papers made with Lumiere, tissue paper, fantasy fiber, bandage and rub'n buff.

Background papers made with stickles, staz on, distress and pearl ex.

Connie's tags

This tags background is made with scrapbook paper and Multi-medium from Claudine Hellmuth. Then I have applied Gesso and Distress Ink "Stormy Sky". Motif is a mix of two Unity stamps from Suzi Blu and She Art design, and it's colored with Aqua markers from Letraset.

This tag is made with the same technique as the tag above, but instead of Distress ink i have added Studio Calico spray in the color "Heirloom Blue" and Glimmer Mist "Marshmallow". Motif is from Unity stamps and Suzi Blu, and it's colored with Aqua markers from Letraset.

Och nu när du har sett våra fina julklappsetiketter går du väl genast och slänger de där fula klisterlapparna du har hemma och skapar några egna! Glöm inte att visa oss resultatet.

Don't forget to show us your work!
